redstevie007
Can we all just calm doon? So it looks like we're losing a friendly. So what? Ok, so it's against E*gland, but really, can we quit panicking? Strachan's treating it like it should be treated - he's giving guys a run out and no doubt club managers are being appeased too by giving players a break after Friday. Agreed but it's not losing it's the manner of it. We are just not on the pace.

Barney Rubble
Game's lost, so why not? Losing to a frankly ordinary England team will show our lads how much more they have to do to be serious challengers. We've been found out tonight. But no bad thing in the long run if we take the lesson on board.
thewelk
Tartan army have been shite too but that's understandable I suppose. Or did all those tickets actually get bought by rugger buggers?
thplinth
Was a bit surprised Strachan didn't change the starting XI more given how much Friday will have taken out of the players. Don't think the Jimmy Savile song was needed. What are the lyrics? In return I give you this... Royals and Thatcher to blame for Jimmy Savile scandal, says Noel Edmonds The Deal or No Deal presenter says the BBC cannot shoulder all the blame for allowing the late DJ's offending to go unpunished http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/jimmy-savile/11234069/Royals-and-Thatcher-to-blame-for-Jimmy-Savile-scandal-says-Noel-Edmonds.html Edited November 18, 2014 by thplinth

The SFA has their number... line up a stupid meaningless friendly against England, charge through the roof and if players are not breaking legs the fans are nae happy and we have been shown up... kumnio
Saved a header at the start of the second half, it was probably going over though.
redstevie007
Agreed but it's not losing it's the manner of it. We are just not on the pace. We had a much tougher, more physical group game than E*gland did. We're knackered and it shows. Adrenalin can get you through two qualifiers but a friendly's more difficult to get up for, regardless of opposition.

As I said earlier, I am surprised Strachan didn't make more changes to the starting XI.
RenfrewBlue
Robertson has been horsed by Oxlade Chamberlain. Anyi was no help in the first half either. Fletcher for Brown has effectively stopped us in our tracks. He's just not good enough anymore. After no failures on Friday we have hardly any pass marks tonight. AberdeenAngus
I agree. As I said earlier, I am surprised Strachan didn't make more changes to the starting XI. We couldn't have picked 2 more energy sapping games to play back to back.
