Either McTominay gives a world class performance, the next he's given the worst performance since Manchester United were established. I have a soft spot for Man United, growing up they were swashbuckling and they had Cantona, Giggs, Keane, etc, but I have to admit, a section of their fans are clueless. Every successful team has a player like McTominay. Liverpool have Henderson, who is not as good as McTominay. The difference? Liverpool have a world class manager. If Klopp was United manager, they'd be top of the league. To be fair they are exactly the same with all their players Some sort of goldfish mentality were they can only remember the most recent event in some case's that is the last 10 minutes of each game. True. It's weird with McTominay, though, he played very well against PSG and some were saying he was world-class... He played well against West Ham and some were saying that he was mediocre and his passing was atrocious (90% success rate) It sums up the Jekyll and Hyde Man United season. They (United fans) may not like it, but no matter who the United manager is, McTominay will be a starter, as he's a manger's dream.
Taylor1996
Watched the ICT vs QOS match. Kai Kennedy was ok. Had a couple of glimpses, but nothing remarkable. He's only 18, but if he wants to progress he has a lot of work to do. I don't understand what he'll learn from a 6-month loan and then going back to Rangers to play 0 minutes for the rest of the season. James Maxwell (18, also on loan from Rangers) was very good. He has a bit of Andy Robertson about him. Another left-back... Roddy Macgregor (18, central midfielder/attacking midfielder) was the stand-out. He showed some lovely touch and some nice skills. A goal and an assist to his name. His goal was kinda like Pogba's goal against Leeds, maybe even more difficult, as it was a half volley. What I learned from this match is that both teams play out of from the back, they give kids a chance and they wouldn't look out of place in the SPL... Which is why the SPL should be expanded to 18 teams.
Guest Scot1
I’d like to see the league expanded also, not a lot of difference between teams at the bottom of Premiership and those at the top of the Championship. Not sure if I’d go for a 16 or 18 team setup. It would be good to get more derby matches in the top flight. The Dundee Derby, Edinburgh, Old Firm, Lanarkshire, the Highland Derby, maybe an Ayrshire, Fife Derby too

The SPL teams are self-serving and selfish to the core, so it shouldn't even go down to a democratic vote. It should be forced on them, if they don't like it, they can lump it. Well the excuse is that the tv companies, SKY want at least 4 old firm matches a season. But if you were to expand the league and still have a split, you could guarantee at least 3 league meetings and a good chance they will meet in one of the cups. er yir macaroon
Expand the league but no astroturf. It is totally unacceptable. If you can’t afford a grass pitch, throw in the towel because that’s not football.

Got to say I'm amazed at the amount of starts Oli Burke has had for them considering he hasn't done a huge amount in last two years. Still don't think upfront is best place for him, would rather see him out wide but Sheffield system dosen't really allow that.

Be interesting to see if this gives him confidence & he goes on a wee run. His goals to minutes ratio must be fairly awful this season but it’s good to see him scoring and let’s hope he improves from here onwards... gkm_vancouver
Fleck and Burke playing as well today. Would be good to see Sheffield Utd string a few results together now with 3 of our squad players in the team.

Burke still makes some silly runs, just dosen't read the game at all well still which is worry for his future development as he's not a wee laddie anymore. Think Alaves had right idea playing him out wide but he was in and out and only tended to start the away games when Alaves wouldn't have much possesion. Think his best fit would be in a 4-4-2 team but very few play that now, Burnley is one so that might've been a better fit for him.
mccaughey85
Mcburnies had a decent game today. Played a blinder of a pass to fleck who should of done better with it.

He does hold the ball up well. Two problems are that he doesn't score goals and he doesn't seem nearly as good a player for us. Honestly think the answer to those two problems are the team formations. He scored bundles in the championship in variations of a back 4. In Scotland games before we introduced a back three he only got the chance to play in games we were never going to win. Two games against San Marino and I am sure his strike rate would look a lot better.

It's about time we told Sky to go to hell. When they were the only players in town, we had to curtail to them, but now, with BT and Amazon and Beinsports, etc, maybe it's time to head in a different direction, even if it means less income. The fans should get a vote on league reconstruction. The teams can no longer be trusted to do what's best for Scottish football and, more importantly, the national team. History has shown that they care for neither.

But it seemed that everyone was only concerned about themselves and nothing changed. Absolute joke.
