JECK
In fact I would say there's no question that Ireland are now considerably better than Scotland defensively and in attack. Can you imagine Scotland going to Austria to try and get a result ? Hilarious I know

Bobby Russell's Lovechild
Looking at the fixtures, N Ireland battered a team that managed a draw in the Czech Rep and a win against Norway. He clearly has no interest I scouting anymore whether it's players for their club or other teams in our group. Why not go and watch one of those teams, Slovenia tonight in Poland for example. He clearly knows what way this is going why he need's to take a 'few day's' to decide in ridiculous, why the SFA are even letting him is even worse. To be fair, the SFA would be daft to dive in and sack him, when there's a chance he will walk. Letting him come to them puts them in a much stronger position when agreeing his pay off. Bobby Russell's Lovechild
He did the right thing at Middleborough and walk when it went wrong, but won't do it for his country. Obviously going down the Levein route of making friends
CovGer
He didn't walk at Cov. He once admitted he stayed on after relegation out of sheer bloody mindedness. Got a million odd pay off, another nail in the ccfc coffin.

Any manager worth their salt would be watching our next opponents, Slovenia, in action tonight. Instead our 'manager' is away sunning himself in Portugal. Between his preference over being a tv pundit and his repeated demonstration of being a very poor and uninterested manager it's a lesson learnt on why certain ex players are not at all suited to international management. Yip utterly flabbergasting. He clearly thinks it some kind of easy part time job. Living in NI, you read about Michael O'Neill and his attention to detail he has in place, video analysts and so on who pick over every match they play and their next opponents. You get the impression Strachan does bugger all, the Slovakia match would be the prime example where his 'scout' Pressley was on Radio Scotland on the Sunday saying that they were slow at the back and we needed to get at them with pace, Strachan goes and does the total opposite. Are we that well off for choice that we can reject a manager that just a few seasons ago was hand picked by one of the greatest managers of all time to take on the biggest job in English football? He was well out of his depth with that job, he has 2 titles (Preston NE & Man Utd Community Shield) in his 18 years as a manager not to mention his current win rate at Sunderland & how things turned out at Real. We need to aim for a winner, yes we are shite but if we continue to settle for mediocracy then is anything ever going to change?
