OLAS
Are Scottish fitba' fans, specifically national(!) team fans, predominantly YES? (Rhetorical) I was in Germany and it must have been 95% and up. Why? We're not all working class, we're all different, we all flew in from different countries. We're all different but the same ultimately. I really want to ask why people are voting NO... but maybe my mind is just too focused or perhaps indoctrinated to even consider that someone would, and it probably wouldn't make sense anyway. weekevie04
YouGov - Yes 48%; No 52%. That'll do. Same with Survation - trying to steal some thunder. All within the margin of error. Let's get that vote out. Love you all!
iainmac1
My house Yes 100% No 0%. First time I have been polled.

thplinth
Oh man. These polls are are campaign weapons... same as the papers, the tv, the politicians. You buy them. They opposition pay for them and we now know what they are like so why have so many of us (me included) been so 'eyes on stalks' when they come out? runningtings
Basically, it's close.

biffer
Intention to vote earlier was 95%. So undecideds will vote. Still not convinced polls are capturing the young and the disenfranchised. All to play for. I doubt i'll sleep tonight or tomorrow.
OLAS
Is it really 97% of the able population that have registered? Is there any way we can tell?

Scotty CTA
You and Flure are probably the only two people not shyting it. I'm cool as a cucumber. We will win this. It'll be close, but we will win this. I reckon the undecided voters will shift to yes and win it for the Yes camp. Like the camp followers at Bannockburn? OLAS
I'm cool as a cucumber. With respect, Scotty, I'm not sure if you have ideas about moving back home. I do if it's a YES. I want to live in my country again (and I think you also). If it's a NO, I'm not so sure. We love our country of course, but I want our country to be better than it has been. We're clever people and I hope that pushes us well over the winning line.
fringo
Prof John Curtis on BBC2 Scotland 2014 just now (the boffin from Glasgow Uni who appears on all these political programs) mentioned that a lot of the polls tend to have more middle class rather than working class and more older rather than younger voters. This means that those (probably) who are more likely to vote Yes, are not regularly polled. In other words this could slightly misrepresent the overall voters and therefore the poll results, by a small amount. PS Jeane Freeman (whom I didn't know last night) is also on just now. Stapes
He also mentioned more women than men. Jeane Freeman then added that they aren't catching the group that have never voted before. All good for Yes.
