Would it not actually make a lot of sense if 80% of your political representatives and 80% of the fourth estate were actually really co-opted, producing fake news (which is just a new phrase for propaganda)? It is that bad... maybe worse. If JFK was a coup they could never truly relinquish control after that point. Because they would have gone to jail. They have tolerated some levels of breakout democracy but when it annoys them them they just remove the person by hook or by crook. Reagan (like JFK) nearly signed his own death warrant by having a Bush as VP (for JFK is was Johnson). One of the things in the Family Bush book is how over so many presidential candidates people would approach them and say you should pick George Bush as VP.... The plan there is they kill the true incumbent and then Bush / Johnson is prez. Nixon (also a bit rogue) said he picked Spiro Agnew as VP (a perplexing choice for many at the time) as 'assassination insurance'. Nixon knew fine well what went down with JFK...they all did. It was justified by him being a 'national security' threat. There is nothing else that can explain the level of cover up we saw. Do certain agencies now realize with 50 years of hindsight that their complicity was a huge mistake... I don't know but this Trump thing is not just what you see. It was like an ECT or ECG wake up moment. I dare say it is somewhat dated now but I would not know as I have not watched it since. I'll bet you this though... it still does the job. It was a coup. Once you accept that it changes your view of history since (edit: and actually long before). Try it. See if things start to make more sense. You can chart the decline of 'the west' since that date. It is like a force that hates us took control at that moment. It was not just JFK that died that day. He can grate and I don't have a problem watching him at all. He is not a politician and it shows. You have to use your own judgement and instincts at the end of the analysis.
