shaggycoo
Up one place to 31st. Wales now above England! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34135432 Love how the English media big up the rankings until the Welsh are above them, and now it is all about how to play the system to become ranked above your station!!!! Toepoke
With the exception of Serbia, all of our last 8 defeats have been to countries now in the top 10. I suppose that's encouraging?...
Clyde1998
If Wales win their next two games - they could be second in the world.
PASTA Mick
If Wales win their next two games - they could be second in the world. They've played the rankings well but they've got the results in this campaign.
Clyde1998
They've played the rankings well but they've got the results in this campaign. They got lucky with their group though. Belgium - Hardest game, but beatable. Israel - Meh - should get points off of. Cyprus - Should beat twice Bosnia - Declining - should get points off of. Andorra - Six points. McToot
They've played the rankings well but they've got the results in this campaign. Other than Belgium at home and Israel away they've not really had any results of note.

I'd rather avoid them TBH. Stand corrected on this but I don't think we have beaten them since the Hand of Jord incident in 1977. King Of Paisley
Didn't we beat them in Dublin in the Carling Cup? I had forgotten all about that. But even then one win against them in nearly forty years is a pish return. Hence Northerscum's thinking.
Famousfor15minutes
We should have beaten them home and away in the last campaign. We were the better football side but just didn't take our chances.

joe545
Wales and Romania have played it smart by not playing friendlies and doing well in their competitive matches. By doing that, Wales have gained the most points in the world in the last year - even more than Chile who won the Copa America - and they have only beaten one good side in Belgium. Meanwhile the SFA are playing Qatar ...
