in5omniac
November 2007, Scotland 1-2 Italy, was 21, living in Sheffield at the time, managed to buy a ticket from someone. Had no idea the atmosphere would be anything like that, what a first game to go to - in spite of the result and that decision, got my SSC membership in time for the next campaign. Flora MaDonald
For all those whose first game was 'under the lights' at Hampden, did you not marvel at the beauty of it all? The lights shining down on the perfect pitch, the pipers, fag smoke drifting into the night air......still gets me to this day. An amazing sight for a wee guy. Dodger
Against Switzerland at pittodrie in 1993. Remember very little except John Collins missing a decent chance to make it 2-1. Was a good 8 years before I went back again. Just googled that game and apparently Switzerland were ranked third in the world at the time which seems mental.
