Ally Bongo
This was on Twitter just now. Labour's Stephen McCabe having a go at BBC Scotland's James Cook for daring to report everything he heard at Labour's anti-SNP rally in the capital earlier on today. For anyone who missed it, he concluded his report by saying there were a few defiant speeches but one Labour delegate (a senior Labour figure) had said to Cook: "the ship is going down", or words to that effect. Labour are raging he reported it. Edited March 7, 2015 by Ally Bongo

neilser
Can't believe that Hamilton was going on about 'jobs for the boys' with reference to Salmond - who voted for Hamilton to get some of his cushy wee jobs before he got into Westminster then? Stapes
I know Davie, and tbh I quite like him. Think he's lost his way in the party machine, but somewhere in there is a true socialist (he still lives in the same council house he did before becoming an MP for example). I've never felt he was truly anti-SNP, certainly not on the scale of Ian Davidson or Terry Kelly. I believe he's friends with some senior SNP people down in WM. He's also a very engaging speaker so was a bit surprised at this.

I'm sure mainstream medai will be all over it, imagine if Farage had said it.

aaid
Love this line from today's Herald about Margaret Curran. Another Scottish Labour source said: "Margaret has always been out for herself and Jim needs to have a word with her. It will be a blow to Labour if we lose our Scottish Secretary but we can take comfort in the knowledge that the IQ of the Westminster group will rise when Margaret goes." She's definitely in the top 3 of who I'd love to see lose their seat. Her, Jim & Dougie being booted out on their arse would be just fine.
