Debian
Green loses Legal Fee case. Former Rangers chief executive Charles Green has failed in a legal bid to force the club to pay his legal fees in a forthcoming criminal trial. Mr Green and several others face trial next year over the alleged fraudulent acquisition of Rangers' assets in 2012. Rangers disputed Mr Green's claim that his contract covered all future legal costs arising from his time in charge. Judge Lord Doherty has now found in the club's favour. Mr Green's legal team may choose to appeal the decision. Mr Green and a number of others, including the club's former owner Craig Whyte, were arrested and charged in September. The moves followed an investigation by Police Scotland into off-field events at the club in 2012 and 2013.
TartanJon
It's like Train Simulator for nerds! My boy is always on his computer playing sims,I sometimes wish he was watching porn, gay porn would even be a victory of sorts. He's getting a xbox one for Christmas to go with the xbox he hasn't played for 18 months.I might play on it with him for an hour on Christmas day before I get bored and hammer the alcohol. phart
I take it Football Manager is a computer game of some sorts ? Aye really realistic, I can take any team to european success in 6 years. It's a simple game masquerading as complex. Basically civilisation II for the less capable.

It kind of implies that Charlie wasn't doing his job when he broke the law.Nothing will be made clear until the criminal case is done though. phart
Saving before each game and replaying it until you win is not in the spirit of the game There is no need to do that, hardly beating the game if you cheat, i don't play easy modes. Is that real years or computer game years ? 6 seasons in game time, not real life. only if you add a ghost manager of man city and buy your shite players for £100 million to give you a sugar daddy transfer pot. No need to cheat, anyone can make a super team, just go into the editor and create players, no need to add a ghost manager. I've not played it in years but i'm sure i could be successful with the new ones.

He has a mouse that resembles a hedgehog but instead of quills it is covered in buttons. Knew that Google game was coming up. Ha ha. That was the one window where we could see the quantitative gulf in gaming ability between me and the TAMB. Of course practice makes perfect so i obviously had to sacrifice other things like talking about what bird out of Hollyoaks i wanted to pump. RenfrewBlue
What quote? It's on the BBC website story. He has said that the section of the contract old Chuck was relying on doesn't apply in this case. The wording of the section makes interesting reading when you consider it doesn't apply to this case. tartandon
Clause 8.3 of Mr Green's contract stated: "The company will pay any reasonable professional (including, without limitation, legal and accounting) costs and expenses properly incurred by the employee after the date of this agreement which arise from having to defend, or appear in, any administrative, regulatory, judicial or quasi-judicial proceedings by a third party as a result of his having been chief executive of The Rangers Football Club or the company." The judge ruled that the criminal case was outwith the scope of Clause 8.
ShedTA
Clause 8.3 of Mr Green's contract stated: "The company will pay any reasonable professional (including, without limitation, legal and accounting) costs and expenses properly incurred by the employee after the date of this agreement which arise from having to defend, or appear in, any administrative, regulatory, judicial or quasi-judicial proceedings by a third party as a result of his having been chief executive of The Rangers Football Club or the company." The judge ruled that the criminal case was outwith the scope of Clause 8.3 So it relates to activities prior to Charlies stint as CEO? I guess that could make sense.
