Stapes
The SNP did boot her out of her seat, but she's on the Lothian list. I thought Labour didn't allow candidates to contest a seat and be on the list. Wasn't that why they lost so many big names in 2011?

stocky
talk is he will stand in Paisley seat, Hugh Henry will retire or go stand in his Clarkston/ east ren seat... the second option will be interesting as the Tories are only 6% or so behind there,, and Henry is reformed Trot.. if he is successful, refrewshire is strong labour, I will have Doogie Alexander as MP and Murphy as my msp... phukkin depressing.... AlfieMoon
As it would seem that Murphy seems to be the fav, how exactly does that work? Does he need to step down from Westminster 2015 elections and effectively have a year out to build towards Holyrood 2016?
Clyde1998
@scotbot: Neil Findlay is Scottish Labour's version of John Major. But instead of being grey, he's brown. Everything is brown about him. #Scotland2014

Everything is brown about him. #Scotland2014 Whenever I see Findlay on TV he keeps ending every second sentence with the words "because I'm a socialist you know !". Always wears suits that don't seem to fit him, just something I noticed. Murphy is the only candidate that the average person in the street will know of, outside their own areas Findlay and Boyack are non-entity's. Anyway, hopefully it's not long until they are all tearing each other apart
mariokempes56
Didn't know who Findlay was and having listened to him on Smith show I realise why. Still the electoral college system may produce an odd result. Any odds on who's favourite?
