Ormond
This morning on Yank tv there was an hour long special on one of the main breakfast shows about everything Scottish. They had that Weegie walloper Des Clarke on for some reason. What an embarrassment he is. Cringeworthy. Which other celebs embarrass you on tv, radio, sport, etc? phart
I don't feel embarrassment at the actions of others. I don't follow what celebrities do.

That program is excellent and really funny. Not sure how much of it is his original stuff though. He might just be reading stuff that has been written for him? He is good at it though. Parklife
Went to see Des Clarke at the Fringe about 8 years ago and really enjoyed it. I do find him a bit grating when he does his thing at Hampden though but i think that's more to do with the segments he does, rather than him personally. thplinth
Kilts. Is it not (the clan tartan) pretty much a Victorian imagination? And that whole bonnie prince charlie garb. Seriously a real highlander would look at you and assume you were a modern day Scottish lady boy selling your wares. Can't be the only one to notice that Tennant alters his how strong his accent is depending on who's interviewing him. Don't like people who do that. I mind when he quit as Dr Who, the media were predicting that the offers from Hollywood would come flooding in for him. Feck all happened.
