weekevie04
I'm in floods of tears. Mr Salmond is the only politician have ever admired. He s a credit to our nation and should be thanked across the land for his unswerving service. We knew that the Westminster parties would renege on their 'vow'. I didn't think it would unravel inside 10 hours, But I'm so glad that their lies have been shown up so quickly because it will still be fresh in the minds of the Scottish people. I just hope that the No people will see that we are being treated like dirt. The fight MUST go on. On yerself, Don. We will keep going. We have to and we will. Nicola was terrific in the debates. I think she'll be the next FM and Leader of the SNP - loads of voters warmed to her on that Big Debate on BBC.
weekevie04
I think we are kidding ourselves on Most folk that voted No knew the new powers vow was horseshit They just dont want Scotland to be Independent I sadly think this is true. Seen a prime example of this on BBC today. Punters waiting overnight in a queue for a new iphone. Imagine doing such a thing? Of course he was ''I'm alright, Jack''. exile
I think we are kidding ourselves on Most folk that voted No knew the new powers vow was horseshit They just dont want Scotland to be Independent True. most No voters may have known it was horseshit, but it would only take a minority to be swayed, to turn 45-55 into 55-45. Also, by making the pledge and vow, it gave the Nos renewed self belief and momentum, to press home the other arguments. It gave Gordon Brown renewed authority and vigour. He would not be striding around talking of reclaiming the streets, or no one would be paying attention, if he hadn't first pulled the Timetable trick. TartanJon
I think we are kidding ourselves on Most folk that voted No knew the new powers vow was horseshit They just dont want Scotland to be Independent Pish mate! (Mind I love you) BT Women I spent hours with on at the PS from Labour ,ex headmistress aged 65,wife of a former Labour councillor totally bought into everything he said the other day and I got the feeling she wasn't alone . I asked her what happens if they renege ,they won't she said ,I asked her a few more times before she admitted they would be unelectable in Scotland. At the changeover she bolted sharply not because of any us Yessers but because her replacement was a Tory.Better Together eh ?

Menschlich
This consistent use of terms like 'traitor' or 'quisling' by many people on here shows that this wasn't just a movement for social justice and democracy, but actually one with a sinister nationalist ideology.
