Jacques Hunt
We won 1-0 against Portugal and top the group! Do not know any more detail but must be good news. Malta, Wales and Portugal in group.
flicktokick
We beat Wales 1-0 earlier this week. In that game we wore our change strip so it was pink against red. Madness.

er yir macaroon
I've read that Aitchison is very good. Anyway, this is Mark Wotte's 2020 group that have come right through his system, so it will be interesting to see how they develop.

Will he even get into a squad this season? Agree - These boys probably won't really get a sniff. You look at clubs in Holland for example; Ajax regularly take through 5,6 sometimes even 10 boys per season, sell them on after a bit of game time, or keep them for the first team & this gives Holland a regular stream of players playing first team football from 16-18 within their own country. bookerman
If anything we learned from the past youth Scotland squads, that filling our teams with old firm players don't really work. They just end up not making the first team and falling out the game for good or at best end up lower league journeymen. Saying all that we seem be doing something right at this level. Qualified for the last 3 under 17s, so fingers crossed for number 4. Edited September 22, 2016 by bookerman

Calvin Miller still has every chance. He is 18, just signed a 3 year deal at Celtic about 4 months ago. He is in their development squad and has just been named in the Scotland U19 squad for the forthcoming friendlies against Sweden. Sounds like a pretty good progression.
