Quite looking forward to this although the premise is ludicrous

Only because it's possible to go forward in time and not back .......

Only if you assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's maybe more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.

David Tennant is the pishest Doctor of all time with all his wibbly wobbly guff.........

Not seen or heard of this but I'm looking for a series of sort to get into.

Last series I watched was Sons of Anarchy. ( awesome )

Whats this about and is it recommended ?

Jake Epping (James Franco), a recently divorced English teacher from Maine, is presented with the chance to travel back in time to Texas in 1960 by his long time friend Al Templeton (Chris Cooper). He is convinced into going and attempts to prevent the assassination of JFK. However, he becomes attached to the life he makes in the past and this could be his mission's undoing.
