Alan
Really looking forward to rangers v Hibs today. 2 teams who play decent football lots of quality players and a sell out. Better than man Utd v Chelsea.

I've no idea if you're telling the truth on this occasion. Just making an observation on why no one believes you.
Exglasgowasc
Totally agree on the timing Maybe Del Boy used that and other similar messages to get the team riled up. I always used to enjoy the games against Aberdeen as I don't remember any that were easy. There was a 6-1 game iirc in the old League Cup sectional games in the early 70s, I think. But we lost the reverse fixture 3-1 only a wee while later. Shows the nature of the fixture really well in my opinion. Hopefully get the chance to play you next season, if we don't bottle it tomorrow. Bells league cup tie i'm sure 1976. Mind the programme from the game cost 12p. We went out 7-4 on aggregate. Got a doing that night at ibrox on the park and then got a doing at primary school the next morning as I was the only dandy don at school. That and the willie johnstone incident with john McMaster (which everyone conveniently forgets) fuelled my resolve to continue with my support of Aberdeen with even more patriotism and may I add for the avoidance of doubt my hatred of rangers. You'll be pleased to hear I will be delighted if hibs win today.
Exglasgowasc
Incidentally I have no idea how the game will pan out today. I know hibs appear to be on a bit of an unbeaten run and rangers have dropped points. I most certainly wont be paying attention to it but as stated above will be delighted to see rangers beaten as I am every time it happens and by anyone at all. Compliments of the festive season to you all
Haggis McBasher
Atmosphere is good. Thinking more about drug taking, shoplifting, fighting, singing IRA songs. Stuff they should get lifted for. Drug taking and IRA songs are a vital part of match day atmosphere, we should be doing more to encourage it rather than jailing people for it goodness sake! I had thought it was a few years earlier but my memory is bloody awful.

One of the weirdest places I've seen folk taking drugs was in the toilets at east end park. Never interested me, but i do question people's choices on where/when they take them. I'd want it to be a big night out...

Out of interest do you have the same opinion of those who like a good drink before going to.the fitba? Im not disagreeing with you BTW just always chuckle about the blatant hypocrisy when it comes to folk taking drugs and folk who are so steaming they can't mind the game. The latter is usually met with big laughs and Slaps on the back in my experience.

Having said that, I don't understand folk that get blootered to go to the football either, they must barely remember the game. I've noticed there's a lot of it goes on at the Scotland games, for many it seems it's just a day out. I'll go for a few pints on occasion before a game, but like to enjoy and remember the game. There is something pretty grim about snorting coke in the bogs at a Dunfermline v Motherwell game regardless.

kumnio
Very wet, the park area outside my office looks drenched, it's been pissing down most of the day. Game could possibly have gone ahead, I'm guessing that they have called it off early for the travelling fans.

thplinth
I am not a betting man and I realize that this is not about the EPL but I was just on bet356 out of curiosity and Spurs at 10 to 1 against to win the league looks very attractive. I'd say they are about 3 to 1 max.
