hannibal smith
Wife has told me to beat it on Thursday night as she and the kids want a good night sleep!!! Anyone out and about in tayside on Thursday or know of any boozers with a very late license in the tayside area that evening?
Fred_Zeppelin
Chances are we won't know until about 7am unless one side is winning by a landslide. Unlike general elections we won't know the final percentage until we know how many people have actually voted. I'm going to stay up until about 3 when some of the big councils will declare and hopefully I can get a sleep after that.

Big Col
I've taken thurs-fri off work, as have a few mates. Planning to head round to one of theirs thursday night. Like ek_celt the provisional plan would be to stay up to 3-4am to see the first few regions declare, head off the bed and then get back up at 8am to see the final result. However if/when the first few declare YES and a few drinks have been consumed calling it a night might not be so easy.

We are going to have a very good idea which way the wind is blowing by 3am and I cannot imagine many of us are going to sleep after this point! I have taken the day off but am wondering if I am going to be a drunk man in need of a party!
cotterfish
Hopefully finish work in Dumfries at 8pm help the campaign until 10pm up to my brothers in kirkintilloch and all night watching the result. littleboyblue
Not sure how reliable the list of timings that's floating about is but I was thinking South Lanarkshire coming in will give a good idea of how its gone. Although it stretches down to the borders its heavily populated nearer glasgow and will be a decent indicator for glasgow city itself. I agree there are a few smaller councils who will declare earlier and give us a good indication of the national picture.

tartandon
Make sure you vote first. Did my postal vote last week. So if I kick the bucket tomorrow, I'll get a final sense of satisfaction at having voted despite being deid.
