the_burger
The only Whisky I like is Macallan. I'll head out and buy a bottle tomorrow. Normally I drink bourbon but I don't think it would be appropriate for the occasion
gonzoal
Tossup between Laphroaig 18 year old or a wee bottle of Johnny Walker Blue. If it comes out right then maybe both.

Grim Jim
My "collection" is in need of replenishment, but I've some left in the bottom of 4 bottles: Old Pultney 21, Aberlour A'bunadh, Bladnoch 16, Glen Turret 10 plus a hipflask somewhere with my last Glengoyne 17. Looks like I need to nip out for an Island one

Armchair Bob
I don't like whisky at all but I do have a 250 year old Jacobite drinking glass that might have to be used for just one. To think the last time it was used may also have been to toast Scottish freedom...

OLAS
Just dropped a Lagavulin 16 year old in Tesco... was price checking and it fell right out the box (stupid me had it upside down!). Caught it a wee bit with my foot and it bounced off the tiles then came to a rest unscathed. Settled for a Glenlivet 12. The box included 50cl of a 15 & 18. Think I'll keep them for Dundee & Glasgow coming through
weekevie04
Was tempted to buy a Jura 12 year old, but didn't want to temp fate. Some Czech beers will do tonight and if we return a Yes I'll treat myself to a Jura tomorrow and toast my old Diuirach/Barrach grandfather who I never met.
