aaid
It was the proddy/catholic bit that caught my eye. Not sure how that's relevant? Still, if these bits help to get the rest of it read by more people then maybe he's done his job. "There's no such thing as bad publicity" and all that. I read it as implying that she changes her principles to suit herself, ie, she used to be a labour supporter and now she's a Tory. She used to be a Protestant and now she's a Catholic. She could be a genuine concert or it could have what suited her at the time.
Bino's
Switched on 5live on the way home. Just in time to catch her greeting about vile nationalist abuse and how Nicola Sturgeon needs to "sort the SNP out and stop the abuse" What Nicola Sturgeon can do about the abuse she gets on Twitter is beyond me. She probably knows there is ef all that Sturgeon can do but is happy to smear her on national radio and allowed to do so by the BBC. Top stuff. she'll fit right in at the lords great appointment really

aaid
Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Up until now she's been bombproof as far as the press in Scotland is concerned, looks like maybe the tables are turning. It was always obvious that her "success" story wasn't one that would stand up to any level of scrutiny. Let's hope the peerage doesn't happen, would be hilarious if it didn't as it would all be poor Michelle's fault for blabbing about it. Flora MaDonald
In their desperation to troll the SNP, the Tories probably didn't know that much about her. They have given her two things (peerage and business tsar). On these two things, she has failed to keep her trap shut by blabbing to anyone who'll listen before the deadline of the official announcements. Even they must be able to now see she is simply untrustworthy.
Auld_Reekie
It's clearly a reward for her services to the Union during the referendum, and she'll been seen as a useful idiot that can be used to smear the SNP when she's abused by idiots. I also wouldn't be surprised if her report in a years time is highly critical of the SNP government while positive about rUK.

That's no doubt the game plan, however one thing that the government doesn't want is anyone who has skeletons in the closet that will come out and embarrass them in the future. Im not really sure she'll have that many skeletons - her business record, her private life is all pretty much hanging out in public already, which is why some business commentators are questioning the appointment. She's absolutely shameless and so are the UK Government. She'll do their bidding because it gives her a profile she craves and lives off. neilser
Her whole business model involves preying on women with self esteem issues; make your boobs look bigger/your belly smaller/your skin orange and you'll be happy like Michelle. She's not happy at all though - she's a fecking car crash, continually looking for confirmation that she's made it in life.

Lion Rampant
I think some folk think that his attitude can at times undermine the vast, vast majority of good things he does. Indeed. I cringe at some of the stuff he comes out with at times. If he intends to point out everyone else's shortcomings, then he need to make sure he's doing everything possible to keep himself squeaky clean. Abusing folk on twitter makes it too easy for the folk he's highlighting to dismiss him.

Abusing folk on twitter makes it too easy for the folk he's highlighting to dismiss him. He's only a glorified 'blogger' and not in any official capacity. Basically, a normal (intelligent) punter, who gives folk an alternative to the shite MSM we have to put up with. Don't see why there's any need for him to be a saint.
