Jagtag
Ryan Fulton playing in goal for Liverpool U21s on BT sport. Still only 19. Decent prospect from what I've seen of him over the last few years.
noctonjock
Just been reading Tony Watt didn't start for Charlton yesterday cause of a training ground bust up with the manager . It seems to be a recurring theme with him at the clubs he's been at .he came on yesterday and changed the game scoring 1 and setting up the other

Robroysboy
Caught half an hour of the second half, darren fletcher was the main playmaker in the WBA team. Quite impressed with his range of passes and his attempts to open up the Man City defence.
noctonjock
Fletcher had a better second half ,a lot of his passes went astray first half , not the player he once was im afraid
Kirk
Fletcher had a better second half ,a lot of his passes went astray first half , not the player he once was im afraid I said at the time he wouldn't be the same, would have loved to be wrong but he just isn't as good. Magnum
I said at the time he wouldn't be the same, would have loved to be wrong but he just isn't as good. He's still good enough for a place in our squad, if not the starting line up, without doubt !!!
wee-toon-red
Fletcher's also playing a different role with West Brom than he did with Man Utd. At utd he'd never have been encouraged to take on the range of passes that he's going for now, instead he'd rarely give the ball away as the job was to get it back and give it to someone else to do the creative stuff. Whether that makes him a worse player now or not is debatable but it isn't a definite like-for-like comparison.

LewisEDI
this could be good for us as it sounds like he has been asked to play the same role there that he does for Scotland fletcher should stick to what he is good at, defensive midfield work and short tidy passes we've all seen games that we are chasing and he tries to take the game by the scruff of the neck and ping passes about which end up going out of play or straight to the other team which allows them to counter. ParisInAKilt
Thought Fletcher played alright last night, definitely not any worse than the rest of west boms midfield. Tactically they got it wrong starting with 2 up front and leaving Silva free to cause havoc. He and Morrison improved second half and created 3 good chances between them. The fact he's able to compete at this level after all he's been through is brilliant

A bit harsh but I do agree his strengths are more in defensive midfield.
