jock strap
Never seen that before. I assume it's a piss-take? Would cry if he done that on the X-Factor auditions ! Imagine Louis' face if he did
Toepoke
Never seen that before. I assume it's a piss-take? I don't think it is. IIRC it emerged just after Rangers went into admin. The tune's a work of genius TBH, you could imagine it being played by a Bavarian oompah band...
Scotty CTA
The tune's a work of genius TBH, you could imagine it being played by a Bavarian oompah band... You're asking if we could imagine the tune being played by a bunch of H_uns? (Not exactly a stretch!)
dipped flake
Ahmed back in to freeze the £650,000 and Ibrox naming rights sold for £1 - surely admin2/liquidation2 must be just round the corner now
jock strap
Time for a spot of karaoke. And now, the end is near........
Fairbairn
Ahmed back in to freeze the £650,000 and Ibrox naming rights sold for £1 - surely admin2/liquidation2 must be just round the corner now I'm pretty sure that's been kicked out of court on more than one occasion. I think we've got bigger things to worry about than that shyster. And the naming rights thing happened 2 years ago. You have to wonder why Ashley hasn't pressed ahead with the renaming in that time. I think we've got bigger things to worry about than that shyster. And the naming rights thing happened 2 years ago. You have to wonder why Ashley hasn't pressed ahead with the renaming in that time. It's been kicked out twice as the judge said that there was no credible threat that rangers would be unable to pay the £650,00 if Ahmed won. By rangers own words they are bust if the share issue fails so I can't see how a judge could possibly argue against Ahmed this time. And I am aware the rights were sold 2 years ago but this is now yet another revenue stream that is closed. The SRU sold the naming rights to Murrayfield for £20 million, rangers sold their for 100 pennies
ShedTA
The fans need to dump this version of their club. They should start planning now and try and raise enough money to buy the ground. Let the club go to the wall and pick up the assets like Charlie green did. Start afresh. Forget the history etc, start anew club with no ties and build again. It's got beyond a joke now - there is no way they can continue with the current club without people continuing to drain it of cash for the foreseeable future. The leeches have got a stranglehold for years to come.
ShedTA
Dear me blogger Phil now hinting heavily that Charlie green might own even the rangers badge and takes money for the use of said badge. Is there anything charlie didn't sell or take for himself? You really do nowhave to wonder about the ownership of ibrox.
Scotty CTA
I'm no financial wiz, but it seems to me that they should be selling things like, oh… the club and the naming rights for more than a pound.

McFootSoldier
See they spent £250,000 trying to quash the sport direct deal also. I suppose its only a couple of weeks wages ! Agree with ShedTA, too much cloak and dagger legal stuff. A total fresh start I think is the only way forward.
ShedTA
The thing is it is exactly whats needed for the club. all these revenue streams would then once more go into the club. however admin will not break the onerous contracts - only liquidation would do that. RenfrewBlue
Admin is not something that should be so lightly considered. There's ordinary folk working at the club that would be the first to lose their jobs. They are not to blame for the f@ck that Rangers have become. The folk who got shafted at RBS as a result of Fred the Shred's empire building were similarly blameless, but they still got shafted when Fred's empire got found out. ShedTA
Of course admin is shite on the people working there, no one would deny that. But from a business point of view it looks like the only way.
UPROAR
is this back again ? are they really on the brink of Admin..... what would the 'sporting' penalty be ?

That the interests of the the paymasters will always prevail over those who least deserve to be shafted, despite RenfrewBlue's admirable sentiments.
