I predict Labour 28 SNP 22 Tories 3 Libs 6 I dont believe the current Polls.. I don't believe that the SNP will achieve anything like what the polls are telling us - seat wise however: SNP - 30 Labour - 25 Lib Dem - 2 Conservative -
stocky
Why not, out of interest? a few reasons, the majorities that Labour have, all at least 10,000 Massive. Absolutely Massive SNP Candidates, a few very inexperienced ones... The Libs are strong in their local areas. Michael Moore is well thot of, the Orkneys wiill vote Lib etc The Tories will come out as they believe they can win, Current seat will be held and i think D and G will be won as well. The Referendum has energized the population.. there will be a high turnout.. The Naws will vote tactically. The Greens will cause the SNP to fall short of a few seats. The Polls can only go one way... Plus, probably the main one, I am scared to believe them...
Scunnered
Two scenarios... 1. SNP clean up including North Ayrshire & Arran, I weep for the loss of one of the UK's few progressives. I mercy kill everyone in my constituency. 2. SNP clean up excluding North Ayrshire & Arran. I'm happy for you boys and girls and delighted that I retain a representative who shares my progressive views.
McDange
It'll be the Euro elections all over again. SNP will increase from 6 or circa 25-30 and this will be portrayed as "only gaining a few." I doubt it'll be an SNP clean sweep as there will be some that still believe voting Labour keeps the Tories out. SNP - 35 Labour - 21 LibDem - 2 Tory -
newtownards
Who phuqqing cares? The main vote was Sep 2014, and true to form, wee shat it. So...... that's it for you? No more polling stations?

I have no idea why other people do and their excitement at winning oodles of seats in a dead zone of pointless UK politricks mystifies me. Even if we win we lost. Ally Bongo
The SNP membership is approx 100,000 On average each member pays £5 a month So each month the SNP rakes in £500,000 That kitty should be enough for massive campaigning and advertising like never before in the run up to the GE to give them a chance of obtaining the seats predicted (hopefully)

This kind of sentiment will bring a huge smile to the faces of the dinosaurs who's best hope of success is to rely on voting patterns reverting to type. Surely we all have to now try to make the best of a bad hand, and "not giving a f uck" doesn't really cut the mustard. Anyway..... kumnio
UKIP wont get any seats in Scotland, no chance of that thankfully. SNP - 35Labour - 19LibDem - 3Tory -
Ally Bongo
Even if we win we lost. Maybe we had to lose to win Plinthy - thats what i'm holding onto The first round was making the people of Scotland politically aware and shining a light under Scottish Labour and the other unionist parties Things like last week's question time can only help the cause not to mention the agenda of the London parties & the rise of UKIP etc As time goes on the drift of people will be more towards our way of thinking not the other way

giblet
Labour 29 SNP 25 Tories 3 LibDems 2 and the above will be reported by the MSM as a major defeat for SNP, Meanwhile, the Libdems reduced to a rump of 25 seats across UK will join in with the Tories and the Ulster Unionists to keep those fuqqers in power.
weekevie04
Optimistically, SNP - 40Labour - 16LibDem - 2Tory - 1 Although I fear, Labour - 37 SNP - 14 LibDem - 6 Tory - 2 Stocky made some good points - tactical voting against the SNP, masssive majorities in the cities for Labour, strong voting traditions Labour in Glasgow and Libs in Highlands and Northern Isles. I think the SNP might dip like I think UKIP will in England when it gets closer and closer, and we'll hear the same old shite ''Vote SNP get Labour/Tory'' depending on the party. Encouraging though is the new members of the SNP, the referendum and the 'rebirth' of politics. I know a Tory in Dundee, yes there is at least one. He told me he's going to vote SNP in Dundee West to get rid of Labour as the Tories will have no chance. So for all the Unionst Alliance talk - seems the SNP might hopefully be on the end of tactical voting from the other side. Suppose we'll have to bide our time. Guerilla That is what we all have to do now, no violence obviously but other than that go ape. Edited January 27, 2015 by thplinth
