Toepoke
Stuck it on for a minute to see if anyone had bought tickets, only to see Jim Kerr prancing about. Looks fairly full tbh, they must've dumped a load of freebies Can't believe they brought the thing to Glasgow and didn't even have a token Scot nominated... wheres the pies
12.000 folk there must have money to burn the tickets where no cheap think the most expensive one was £
Jaggy Jim
Jo Pavey nominated purely because she's 40. Won Commonwealth bronze and European gold, while Eilidh Child won silver and gold. No pressure on Pavey in Glasgow, while Child had all the pressure of being the Scottish face of the games. Also football covered in about 20 seconds, other than the bit about Bale. Most popular sport in the country! Meanwhile someone who does dressage gets nominated!!
Toepoke
I thought Lynsey Sharp was even more impressive, getting up of her sick bed to compete hours later. Then there's Charlie Flynn, Ross Murdoch...
Fred_Zeppelin
Rory deserves it but I think Hamilton will win it, won't be a travesty though.

irnbruman
Ffs turned over for Match of the Day to be confronted by this pile of crap. Clare Balding, Lineker, Gabby Logan , Gareth Bale and even Donkey Gobbler himself - makes you want to peuk - followed by team of the year - England womens rugby team - aye fooking right. Token Scot award to Brit Chris Hoy. Only moment there worth watching was Arthur Montford coming up on obituary list to the backdrop of Loch Lomond playing. Jaggy Jim
Can't believe Hamilton won it. Being world champ is an achievement at any sport but he really only had to beat Rosberg. Meanwhile McIlroy wins 2 majors at a time when golf has real strength in depth.
JECK
The programme needs renamed. There's hardly ever a "personality" between all the nominees put together and it's been like that for years. Charlie Flynn is the epitome of best sports personality this year.

Toepoke
Only moment there worth watching was Arthur Montford coming up on obituary list to the backdrop of Loch Lomond playing. That was the best bit for me too. Quite emotional listening to Nicola Benedetti with the images going up of some famous old faces, several of whom I didn't realise were away...
