He protected what is really a pretty average defence and made them a lot better than they actually are. Agreed. Possibly not a coincidence that his old team are struggling while his new team tops the table...

phart
Will be the players, "disease of more" is how Pat Riley(basketball coach/manager) describes it as the disease of more. Happens a lot to championship teams, everyone wants more and the fragile mentality of the team melts away and suffer performance loss. sbcmfc
If you can't survive being in the last 16 of the champions league and hovering above the relegation zone off the back of winning the league, can you survive being 5-1 down to Dundee at half time at home off the back of a 7-2 defeat 10 days ago? Hopefully not!

Or they're a bunch of self-serving, disloyal c*nts who are only concerned about themselves.

Well that's certainly basically what Riley was getting at.

sbcmfc
Saw some of the game last night, and it certainly wasn’t screaming out “greatest league in the world” was nearly as bad as watching a game at NDP. What is the expectation at Leicester? They massively over achieved 2 years ago and now can’t appear to accept being back at their natural level... The owners didn't want to appoint Shakespeare but were forced into it by the good results at the end of the season. The poor start this season gave them an excuse. They will be after a "name" and Chris Colman is getting talked about down here. Expectation wise, they think they should be 5th, 6th and in Europa league. They've spent a fair bit of money over the last few seasons.
