jockodile
An unpopular Tory govt blocking a ref from a mandate given in an election that commands a majority in Edinburgh will be the end of the union for certain. The precedent has been set, the genie is going to need to go on a diet to get back in the bottle.
fishcumnock
But she will not allow another referendum on her charge. Need to read up on UDI me.
Ally Bongo
May will not block another referendum and has never indicated that she would She answered the question the only way she could in those circumstances Regardless, UDI is not a possibility and anyone that wants it after realising the consequences is a moron (apologies) UDI is the quickest way to unrest and turning Scotland into Northern Ireland of the 70s Edited September 4, 2016 by Ally Bongo

When I was writing my book on Springsteen someone used it to describe an older guy's reaction when an early Bruce band came on stage at a posh event. Have used it ever since! Ministers say those who are still alive can go through a "disregard process" to clear their names. The government said it would not support Mr Nicolson's Sexual Offences (Pardons) Bill - which proposes a blanket pardon for the living - because it could lead to some people being cleared of offences that are still crimes." The above however is typical Tory spin The bill expressly stated pardons applied only to those found guilty of crimes no longer on the statute book They really are cvnts
