Donaldo87
Think he'll be oot the game for a wee while until somebody in the EPL panics and punts their manager or one of the bigger championship sides Always a market for managers who'll set up not to lose. Parklife
Swansea are rumoured to be punting Gary Monk, he'll end up there. If ever there was a manager less suited to what a club wants to achieve. Would be a disaster of an appointment.
giblet
Moyes has to be careful with next appointment. His star is on the wane, another flop, becomes almost unemployable. Other than Celtic.

ErsatzThistle
Have never seen what the appeal in David Moyes was. One of the most dull and overrated managers out there. Total devotee of long ball, battering ram play. Favours big powerful and physical players over tricky and skilful players. And according to Kevin Sheedy who was in charge of Everton's youth set up, Moyes never gave a flying feck about giving their young players a game. Moyes is an awful manager who is fortunate that he has a lot of friends in the media.

ErsatzThistle
It's also worth pointing out that his Everton teams almost always bottled it when they played against Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. Blew up every time, they could never take on the "big teams".

ErsatzThistle
He was excellent at Preston and his record at Everton was pretty impressive. How many times did his Everton team manage to beat (not interested in draws) Manchester Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool ? How many times did they spectacularly bottle their attempts late in the season to get a Champions League spot when the odds were actually in their favour ? The football his teams played was dire. Moyes is a pish manager who has been found out and is on his way to the scrapheap. Anyone can go to the top in football as in any other business if you just have the right mates to sing your praises constantly. Apparently because Moyes is "a Scot done good" and Ferguson likes him, he is above criticism to many up here. He'll be the next Bolton or Fulham manager. irnbruman
He definitely was an excellent manager at Preston - I said at the time he would end up managing a top three side in the EPL - took Everton into top three at one point. I think there was only so much he could achieve at Everton but overall there did a pretty decent job. His teams were never the prettiest but they were always difficult to play against. Certainly not been successful in last 2 jobs.

flynnyboy
Correctomundo. Anyone thinking otherwise is delusional. Nonsense mate. His achievement has to be taken in context. He did it all with a negative net spend at a time when his competitors were all spending massively, hundreds of millions. To have Everton, who he took from a club fighting relegation under several managers, finish regularly in the top 7 and as high as 4 place in the league with that negative net spend was an incredible achievement. His record at Preston was equally as impressive if not even more so. He has had a bad few months at one club, socidad. His record with man Utd is almost identical to van gaal's with 200m less spent. ParisInAKilt
Correctomundo. Anyone thinking otherwise is delusional. All that post is missing is FACT at the end A decent manager, nothing more or less. His last two jobs have been doomed to failure from the start. Would likely do a job for a mid table EPL team. Rossy
Going to La Liga was never going to end well. Interesting article in The Hearld about Moyes... http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/14022158.There_was_more_to_Moyes____sacking_than_poor_results/?ref=mr&lp=3 Going to a foreign country and making no attempt to learn the language is a recipe for failure. Why do we produce intellectually stupid players and managers in the UK ?
