Dogbiscuit
Away to Georgia on Friday, and the world champions on Monday! Is this gonna be enough recovery time? I'm worried that our players are gonna be knackered out after Georgia, and a couple of days is not a lot of recovery and preparation time to play such a super human team! Scotland looked jaded against England last year after having played Ireland a few days earlier. And they were both home games. Could this affect us next Monday? PASTA Mick
Germany will have much tougher match to recover from.
iainmac1
Germany have even less recovery time and they will have a tough physical game against Poland.
ScottishTyke
Well tbh if we do beat Georgia the Germany game is just really a chance to pit ourselves against the very best and see how we do, obviously I would love Scotland to beat them, but realistically we are going to lose no matter how much recovery time we have. Beating Georgia has to be number one priority, Germany is just a free shot against the world champions.

northernscum
Are the reigning world champions any more fearsome just now than the reigning world champions were in 2007? Just asking!

ScotlandFanMuir
I've said it before and I'll say it again - IF, IF we beat Georgia on Friday, the game on Monday against the Germans because a top of the table clash, presuming they get some revenge against Poland. We'd have a one off chance against the World Champions in front of a sold out, passionate Hampden crowd to take a lead in the group. Yes, my hearts racing and YES, I may be dreaming at this moment in time. Here's hoping that becomes a reality in the coming days.

Rory
Ideally you'd have an extra day between both the games but I don't think it will affect us too much. Both games will be tough on the players but the crowd at Hampden I feel can provide the players with that extra little bit we need to beat the World Champions. Very unlucky against the Germans in first game of the campaign. There beatable. Bring them on !!
fanatyk
Thank God we have Gibraltar after Germany. It`s really a short recovery time between games. On the other hand I hope ze Germans will come to Hampden in horrible mood and totally exhausted

PASTA Mick
We have been lucky that we haven't had a double header in which we've played two of our rivals. Germany had Ireland and Poland in September and only got 1 point. They have Poland and us this September. Poland and Ireland both have tricky double headers in October. weekevie04
I've not thought at all about Germany, it wasn't until a few weeks ago that I even realised we were playing Germany after Georgia, and it wasn't til just a few days ago that I realised the German game was on the Monday! The tightness of the group has me thinking that maybe a win in Tblisi and a loss at home (of course I don't want that), but if given 3pts now, rather than 2 from these two games, I'd take that. Rather than being undefeated in these two matches.
