ÈcosseFCUK
Who would be up for a regular fixture at the end of each season with ROI....it would have to be home and away you couldn't wait 2 years to go to Dublin...but then again playing teams regular does bring in a bit animosity....would prefer to play ROI than england ...too much hassle playing those overrated bile spewing '*#!}$

radian_13
I personally prefer not playing teams again so soon, going to Dublin or London so soon having played them wouldn't be anywhere bear as good. Need to be a few years in between.

Charlie Endell
What would be the point? If you want to go to Dublin on the ran dan once a year there's nothing stopping you... Aye, and it'll cost a fraction of the price - RyanAir do return flights from Glasgow for 20 quid provided there isn't a major event on e.g. rugby or football. Great city - never once have I been and failed to enjoy myself tremendously.
scottincarlisle
Definitely would get boring. Wembley in 2013 was a novelty for some, the fixture last year came too soon for most.
Green_Tide_Rising
Would take the edge off when we do meet competitively Two great sets of fans - who when get together create a fantastic atmosphere and have great banter with each other Regular fixtures would only dilute it - leave it in the lap of the gods as to when we meet - will keep it more of a special occasion Edited June 20, 2015 by Green_Tide_Rising
wanderer
Nope..... Last week had the edge of it being a qualifier, to play a regular friendly would just get boring very fast (look how fast the prospect of games v England lost interest after the game last year!). Only when UEFA/FIFA draw us together or a friendly once in a blue moon
Bristolhibby
Go over and watch Scotland play rugby every second year. Was over there last year and it was great craic. J

slasher
It's not that long since folk on here were complaining about plastic paddys etc. what a difference a weekend makes! Dublin was awesome but let's leave it till fate puts us together again ;-)
DoonTheSlope
Bad move. For years I was desperate for an England game, we then got Wembley and had one of the best few days following Hibs or Scotland IMO. Played well for an hour then lost our way, then we got the return game a year later and failed to turn up and they didn't need to break sweat. As good a time we had out in Glasgow last November it wouldn't bother me if we never ever played them again Edited June 21, 2015 by DoonTheSlope

DoonTheSlope
If we are going to have a friendly at the end of each season and it's not for the benefit of the team for an upcoming as its the end off the season unless there's a tournament then let's branch out and play Uruguay, Ivory Coast or someone we've never played or not faced for years
jimstroma
International challenge matches/ friendlies do not have the same appeal as qualifiers. Dublin was a great trip, but Warsaw and Dortmund have also been brilliant trips so far this campaign with Tbilisi and Faro to look forward to. Robroysboy
We had three games in dublin in the Carling Cup, then re-visited last weekend- thats four times in 2 years? Plenty more countries to visit and hopefully one of those will be Paris next year. All international freindly dates will be taken up by a " league format" to be rolled out by uefa. It will result in alot of more games and less opportunity to choos your opponents. So its a non starter.
