Johnny Russell on the score sheet again. 3 in 4. Seems to be starting almost every game now. He's been performing well for a while, if he continues to add goals to his game then i can see him getting a call up in the near future. Definitley a better all round player than Martin, though he isn't really an out and out Centre Forward like Martin.

I'm surprised Strachan is a fan of C.Martin. He is a very lazy player. He doesn't really fit into Strachan's philosophy. If the goals dry up for him, then i don't really see anything else worth picking him for. Fletcher, Naismith and others are just as good, and better, at holding the ball up as him.

Ikechi Anya isn't in the Watford squad

Nothing on if it's fitness or tactical....

Looking on Twitter, it's actually surprising the amount of hate towards him from Watford fans over why he can play well for us but a totally different player when back with Watford.

Which is not as good as David clarkson's form. Some players can go on a run of decent form but still never be good enough for regular international football

I think Berra is good enough. He's in the squad so I expect Strachan does too, as did the 4 previous managers.

Yeah is probably good enough for the present day squad. That is not playing regular international football. That is regularly being involved in an international squad. Strachan played even Greer ahead of him. So whilst he will rate him, he clearly doesn't rate him highly. I agree with strachan.

Goal and an assist for Lewis MacLeod :ok:

Must be pushing for contention now :D

Yes, playing well against Falkirk will set him up well and put him in contention for a start against McCarthy, Wilkshere, Henderson, Sterling etc....

You think?

Personally I can't see him starting against Ireland.
