Angus_Young
I mind going into games with them in the past, being overwhelming favourites, and losing. One that immediately jumps out is the 5-1 doing we took at CP in Advocaats first season. Granted though Celtic, despite being a poor outfit, still had real quality in their side, we don't. Interestingly that game was the last Rangers Celtic match that wasn't live anywhere. Anyway my point is that these games can throw up surprises so that's about all I can cling to. The smart money is on them. I've got £15 on us at 7/1 Btw on another note I do know of plenty keeping away from this game from both sides. I myself was offered a ticket and turned it down. I hope it passes without incident off the field. Sad we even need to say that but some just can't help themselves.
jailender
I have the feeling that this match may attract the more rabid fans from both clubs, with a lot of the decent fans avoiding it for risk of things kicking off. Could be a bad day in Glasgow, and no doubt elsewhere.
Pool Q
I doubt there has ever been such a gulf in class between these two. 7-1 in a two horse raise should be tempting, but it's not.

wellyman
I can't see it myself. Like Kenneth said, Rangers don't have the quality in defence to soak up pressure from celtic, or have the players or pace to hurt them on the counter attack. It's not like the Walter Smith era (1st time) where you have a Goram (Simonsen ) or guys like Gough (Moshni ) at the back, and you certainly don't have an out ball to Laudrup (law) or Gascoigne (black ). Celtic's recent inability to convert chances is the one saving grace for Rangers. Although having seen Celtic a few times, if they were to convert more chances, someone will be on the end of a 6 or 7-0. I have been saying the same for weeks, the possession and chances celtic make will one day come crashing down on someone. In this game Celtic are better in every department, there is not one rangers player that can get into the celtic side. The only chance to keep the score down is if scepovic plays, if he does'nt then take your calculators along !!

wembley67lisbon
First 10-15 minutes will let us know what is going to happen. Rangers players will be well up for it, especially guys like Miller who have played these games before. Will the ref be strong enough to book bad challenges that will inevitably come celtics way? If we score early doors, that will be that. The longer the game goes without a celtic goal and I'll start to worry.

Let's not kid on that there will be one team playing football and another kicking everyone. I see a tight game with us huffing and puffing and wasting chances and scraping a narrow win. He's a complete bombscare. Never have I seen a keeper with kicking as bad as him. I think Cammy Bell is close to fitness though?

Charlie Endell
I wouldn't, nothing like. We'll need to agree to disagree. Rangers have a squad of Premiership players - unfortunately for Rangers their output is less than the sum of their parts. Celtic are a poor side with a large squad of mediocrities - managed by a dud (although I quite like Deila). If Celtic hump Rangers I'll hold my hands up, but I can't see it happening. jock strap
Think it will be closer than some think. Nerves will be a big thing for both teams. Celtic by 2 in the end. Potentially more sendings off than goals

usainboltyarocket
We should win this. However I can remember losing to Clyde, ICT, Falkirk, Morton, and Killie over the years when we where clear favourites. If Bradford can beat Chelsea, Celtic can lose this one.
