St Mirren Fc - Sold To Argentinian Consortium

Recommended Posts

Deal apparently now concluded and will be formally announced later this week.

Same mob that was sniffing around Motherwell in recent times.

Exciting but, at the same time, terrifying times ahead.

What is the script with the deal, mate? I am always a bit wary when random groups with apparently no connections to Scottish football come calling.

What are the motives for this deal? Surely can't be to make a killing!

NS - I believe they will bring over young South Americans with a view to selling them on.

Other than that, no idea what their motives are. All will be revealed later in the week.

There is no money in the game in Scotland so they ain't over to make a profit in the Fergus McCann mould.

Would most South americans not need a work permit?

Think the board have rejected around 20 + bids over the last few years. They want out, but they're St Mirren fans and are adamant they'll only sell when they're certain the buyer is right.

Incredibly wary. Doubt it'll end well. But there's nothing we can do. :(

They obviously think St. Mirren's style of play is similar to their national team's.

Nah it was when Danny Lennon was in charge that we were as good as Argentina.

We've slipped a bit since then.
