scottincarlisle
Who is Clark Carlisle? He was on Countdown...can't mind if he still played then. Labelled Britain's brainiest footballer.
Return of Yermaw
He did a documentary recently on sportsmen (or maybe more generally just people) battling depression. He said he suffered some very bad bouts with it......
rabmania
I think, from a documentary about him I saw, that he suffers from depression. Poor bloke. - obvsly posted at same time as above... Edited December 22, 2014 by rabmania
Charlie Endell
Has he not had problems in the past with the demon drink and mental health issues? Tragic if it's a suicide attempt - seems like a very decent bloke and a lot smarter than your average footballer.
scotlad
One of the game's nice guys. I really hope the big fella pulls through - for his sake and his family's.
Scouse Eddie
Hope he makes a full recovery but IMO he is a prik jumping on the anti everything banner to give himself a job When he makes a full recovery hopefully he will take his blinkers off and get real.. I think he'll have more imprortant things to think about if he pulls through. Maybe maintain a bit of silence and dignity next time

Flora MaDonald
His injuries are not life threatening according to the BBC. Good to hear. I wish him well - a decent lad. My maw's cousin got killed by a truck last week. Couldn't even identify the body.
Squirrelhumper
Scored the best OG i've ever seen at Rugby Park for Burnley. Hope he pulls through.
Och Aye
Something sticks in my mind hearing that he pulled out of a commentary job for a Sky or Five Live because he was unwell at the weekend, may have been last midweek games, so rumours of depression a bit worrying. I'm going to take a wild guess and suggest he's done something to upset Victim FC (England). Maybe Suarez related?

Zoltan you are not far off the truth there, as stated i hope the guy makes a full recovery and if he has a few demons then he sorts them out to. I might have mistimed my original post and could blame a bit on white wine as he was still in a bad way, but now his injuries are not life threatening i will stick with my original opinion on him.. Robroysboy
looks like was coming apart at the seams http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-30630041 Silly boy, if he was drink driving at the time of the incident I have less or little sympthay for him. He could have killed or maimed anothe road user. Socially unacceptable to dink and drive and rightly so.
