  1. Sometimes happens, ref lets several fouls go, then the cards start to come out for identical offences. Fyvie booked now.
  2. Great goal, and literally the first piece of quality they've showed in half-an-hour.
  3. I've a horrible feeling they've missed that chance, as Liverpool did on Wednesday....
  4. Has Januzaj actually played a competitive game for Belgium yet? When he was hot property a couple of seasons ago, rumour was he was holding on for as long as possible in the hope of playing for Kosovo, before he eventually declared for Belgium. Given how he's not exactly progressed much recently, I think he might fancy switching to Kosovo, as I can't see him getting close to the Belgium first XI.
  5. I saw Ritchie play week in week out for Swindon 4 years ago (in the 3rd and 4th tiers of the English league!), and he struck me as good, but nothing special. That said, he's clearly come on, and deserves his place in our starting XI. The goal against Poland was magnificent, but he more or less cancelled it out by giving away that needless free-kick that led to the equaliser. Agree that West Ham would be a better move than Man U/Chelsea. Like all players, he'd be better off somewhere where he gets regular games. Oh, and no, he's not in any way Scottish. But, he plays for Scotland, so he's clearly of interest to us. I don't think he should be playing for us, but that's another debate.
  6. Where are you getting that price from, the cheapest I can find is E.120! Maybe it gets a lot more expensive in the summer?
  7. Haven't been to an away game for over two years, so am back to zero from a previous high of six. Hoping that Malta will at least put me back on the board, after that it's probably going to be an as yet unscheduled obscure friendly that gets me back to two points. Unfortunately, can't see that happening before the England game.
  8. That's an incredible result for them! Theme of the night looking like SNP vote is holding firm, but they aren't picking up many Labour deserters, who are virtually all going Tory!
  9. Strong hold for Lib Dems in Shetland as well. Turnout 62%. Nationally it doesn't seem to be as high as that, but it's looking like its up on last time all across the country.
  10. Aberdeen South looking very close... Exactly! Thus both votes SNP (despite very, very nearly giving my own second vote to the Greens ?).
  11. Interesting result from Hamilton. Easy SNP hold, but of the 10% of the vote that Labour lost, a full 90% went to the Tories! That's surely hardcore Unionist No voters?
  12. Labour guy giving Corbyn a barrage of abuse now! Presume he's a Blairite #####, but it's still astonishing to see the Labour Party openly destroying itself live on national telly? Edit: I see the swear filter is back ?
  13. John Curtice has just said exactly that! He's on BBC2 tonight, and I happened to switch channels for 5 minutes for some reason?
  14. Slightly different atmosphere on the thread tonight compared to the previous Holyrood election, as this one's a foregone conclusion. Only real points of interest are who's come second, and the results of a few constituencies. BBC now reporting the Lib Dems might actually hold Orkney and Shetland with a bigger majority!
  15. My laptop is 'suggesting' I upgrade to Windows 10 on an almost hourly basis at the moment. Anyone had any problems with the instillation? I've heard a few horror stories, although I'm guessing they're in the minority.
  16. Unless, you're not keen on going in the home end, I wouldn't worry about getting a ticket. We were on 1 point last time we went, so had to go in the home end. Football isn't even their number one sport (basketball's more their thing), and I can't imagine that they're any more excited about playing us yet again than we are, so I can't see interest in the match being high. The section we were in last time was 90% Scotland supporters, and I can imagine a similar situation again this time.
  17. To break up the monotony of yet another trip to Lithuania, we though we'd fly into either Moscow or St Petersburg, then take the train to Vilnius. Train prices look pretty reasonable - under £100 for a 1st class ticket from either Russian city :-) but it does look like a Belorussian transit visa will be required. Anyone else had this idea, or even done it before?
  18. We spent a couple of days in Vilnius before heading to Kaunus on the day of the game. As a Tartan tourist, Vilnius is one of the best cities I've ever been too, absolutely beautiful place teeming with history. Can't recommend it highly enough.
