Some game in Seville. Rangers ahead twice and currently 2-2 at HT. Sparta 3-0 up in Cyprus so Rangers need to win to avoid dropping in to Conference (although I don’t think that would be the worst thing).

Should bring Lammers off. Bring Sterling on. Very open game. Can’t ask any more from the team tonight based on players available.

To be honest we could take Lammers off and not bring anyone on and still be better off.

Watched both games tonight. Aberdeen have been unlucky / nieve in europe this year but have played really well in patches. This is the type of performance / result that would hold them in real good stead if they played group stage next year.

Must make their league form all the more fruatrating. Ive said previously that Scotland could do with a big team finishing 3rd for a few years in a row but looks like it wont be happening again this year.

It's a story of what could've been for Aberdeen. The lack of experience was evident in some games and there was some dodgy refereeing in the PAOK game at Pittodrie.

3rd is no disgrace in the first jaunt into european group stage football for 15 years.

A bonus 500k for the win last night too.

Last nail in the coffin ?

Banning clubs from joining a European Super League was unlawful and Uefa and Fifa are "abusing a dominant position", the European Court of Justice has ruled.

It had been claimed by the ESL and its backers, A22, that Uefa and Fifa were breaking competition law by threatening to sanction clubs and players who joined the breakaway league.

A ruling on Thursday from Europe's highest court found against the governing bodies.

Id imagine the Saudi’s have plans to create a worldwide or European league, just a matter of how much money the clubs owners need to be payed off. It’ll begin with out of season invitation tournaments which will be worth more to clubs financially than their own entire seasons. They’ll buy football eventually irrelevant of the fans or governing bodies resistance, just a question of cost and time ☹️

I watched the proposal for this superleague. There not much difference between it and the champions league. Both will essentially be closed shops so the super rich clubs can stay at the top. So what's new?

The superleague is proposing free to air football instead of subscription based platforms like the CL. That's a pro for the superleague for people who want to watch either nonsense

Clubs can still play in their domestic league too.

Let them have it I say

It's no surprise to see sky are against this. It could overshadow their cash cow.

On that note, anyone who still pays for sky will see a big increase soon and at will be blamed on inflation but thw reality is its because of the new contract they've just handed the EPL.

You can pretty much get a firestick for the price of 2 months worth of sky sports subscription, can’t believe some people are happy to pay up to £100 month for tv packages
