bonzo Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 England absolutely getting their arse handed to themย ๐

England all over the place In the other game, Italy lost to Wales and only had themselves to blame Agree about Italy, they're a really annoying team to watch, do some good stuff then loose all composure in the 22.
Dairbee Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Went to my local in Leicestershire to watch the game.ย It didn't take long for the fans to turn against their team, maybe 10 mins.ย To shed 50 points to the French at home will hurtย ๐

If we make as many basic errors as we did against France then Ireland could really punish us. If we can cut out these daft mistakes then we can give them a good game. Mibbee???๐
bonzo Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Great half of rugby, very close couldn't get a fag paper between these two teams right now.ย
Toepoke Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Yep very competitive, there will be some sore bodies tonight!

Orraloon Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Totally outclassed. Doesn't look good for the World Cup.ย
bonzo Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Oaft, taught a lesson in the 2nd half. Don't think we got in their 22 all half.
Bzzzz Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 Beaten by a FAR better team the day, and again a lot of silly mistakes, would have made it closer but we ain't close to Ireland and given the result yesterday, probably won't be for a wee while.ย

bonzo Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 Ffs, that was a lot closer than it should have been. Unlucky Italy.ย

Orraloon Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 What an exciting game. Looked like Italy were going to win it until the last few seconds. Lots of fringe players getting some time on the pitch for Scotland.ย

Going for the try was a shot to nothing. The way the scrums had been going though, Italy could easily have got a penalty at the scrum instead of us. Fine margins.

Hertsscot Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 This has been the best team for a while, at least we're no longer wooden spoon favourites with Italy anymore. What worries me however is how dependent we are on overseas talent and how frequently our junior teams get beat.
