Lewis MacDonald, list MSP for the North East just tweeted claiming that he'd received racist abuse due to his English accent. He deleted the tweet straight away but unfortunately for him someone screen grabbed it. Given that he's not English and has a very distinctive North of Scotland accent, the only explanation can be that he's got a fake troll account and posted using his "official" one by mistake. I didn't see anyone having a go at Derek McKay when he left his wife and kids and came out as gay. These are personal issues that have feck all to do with their professional ability.
