JasMc1973
I'll be at the Georgia game, I will stand and respect Georgia's anthem...but as soon as whatever strain of FOS they decide to throw at us I'll be planting my arse on the the wee blue seat.. Don't know if i'll be back to a Scotland game, definitely not this year anyway.
Alibi
We bought season tickets. Can you get a refund on them? I have no wish to go to any of the games now. How about replacing FoS with that Kelis song about "I hate you so much right now". That's how I feel about no voters.
exile
Can't get my head round what it would be like to be in Hampden, facing England of all teams... the line about sending an army home to think again, would be surreal, when they begged us to stay, and we said, all right then. mariokempes56
Anyone that voted Yes can sing FoS proudly. Starting to agree with this viewpoint. Its been a painful 18 hours. As for the NOs? Well that's up to their conscience.
Kirk
We can't sing it. If it gets played I hope we all just stand silently.

thplinth
The only kunts who will sing it now will be (most but not all of) the murrayfield arseholes. Edited September 19, 2014 by thplinth
thplinth
Rugby, a dead sport in Scotland played and watched by (mostly) utter kunts. Edited September 19, 2014 by thplinth
jenblueeyes
Rugby, a dead sport in Scotland played and watched by (mostly) utter kunts. That's a bit of a sweeping generalisation! Grew up watching rugby and football on TV with my Dad. The atmosphere at Murrayfield can be electric. Oh aye - and my cousins weren't too shabby at it when I was growing up. Made the Scotland B Squad at the time..... Edited September 19, 2014 by jenblueeyes

I know I agree Jen...but at the same time the edinburgh rugby crowd are the essence of No. They will still belt it out perhaps with more gusto now knowing it is completely emaciated. ShedTA
The song is dead. Agreed. Written by a guy dreaming about independence. No longer appropriate for anyone as an anthem. Fine as a folk song but not a national anthem.
Newryrep
Lads, there is no denying we will rip the piss a bit but the 45% have nothing personally to be ashamed of stand there with the black panther salute head bowed a la Mexico
in5omniac
We could just go an instrumental anthem like the Spanish. I'd suggest Scotland the Brave, but the last word of the title is far from apt.
scotsgary1
Putting this into perspective here and for anybody who is contact with the SFA to contact them. 46% of Hampden does not want to sing FLOWER OF SCOTLAND. Thats about 20,000 when you remove away section. Now get them to explain why not !!!!!!
Bino's
i think we will genuinely have to replace it it'll just sound silly now
iainmac1
I have lost my passion for watching Scotland and can't face going to a game after yesterday. I've said I don't want my ticket for the Georgia game and definitely not going now.
thplinth
Funny... when you think back about so many Scotland performances over the years... they were also 45/55's.

scotlad
Not sure what you mean by the last part given the original context in the song. Don't read to much into it, I was just taking the line - from Freedom Come All Ye, as I am sure you know - at face value. I realise it was a misappropriation though. Flora MaDonald
Is there not a song entitled 'Judas bastards'?
scotlad
How about, Happiness in Slavery by Nine Inch Nails. Actually, throughout today and after reading about what is happening in George Square, the last lines from March of the Pigs by the same group are quite fitting. Now doesn't that make you feel better? The pigs have won tonight Now they can all sleep soundly And everything is all right

Only issue is that they were genuinely persecuted against. We voted our identity away.
