Western Bombs Will Fill Isis With Joy

Are Israel on any side in this, or are they just happy to sit back and watch everybody else bomb fuk out of each other?

Bizarrely there is info out there that indicates that they are backing ISIS. Treating their injured, turning blind eyes. This is because ISIS are degrading Hezbollah.

Fucjed up I tell ya.

What, UK polls or Scottish polls, if only we had the opportunity to decide this sort of issue for ourselves, maybe we should have a referen....Oh, never mind.

UK. Unfortunately we voted no and there's more important things not. And those polls above don't show any difference in public opinion on this.

Heard McTernan on the radio there, disgusted the Labour aren't using a whipped vote, to support air strikes.

It seems most Labour MPs are currently at odds with the party rank and file...

He's doing alright for himself being the media's go to guy to bash Corbyn. Corbyn winning has done wonders for his career.

The peoples champion is moving to move power over policy to the members... While the members are screaming for him to begin deselection. I understand why he's not deselecting... But it is frustrating.

I don't see how Corbyn can survive long term. His party MPs are constantly undermining him.

It's maybe nonsense but it would be nice to think if we had voted yes, that we could've, as a Nation realigned our position re international relations and taken a bit more of a thoughtful approach to this rather than having to follow the usual UK approach.

Deselection. The election of Corbyn was only the beginning. The PLP needs to change if UK politics is going to change.

Exactly so why has Nicola got a giant pair of balls as a 'neoliberal' yet the great socialist hope is a evidently a huge wet cowardly ehhhm... Neoliberal. The guy caves in faster than I can keep up.

75% of Labour members apparently (I say apparently as the figure comes from leadership) oppose Airstrikes... While 52% of Labour voters support Airstrikes. I knew the membership had moved left... But didn't think it was that drastic.

Corbyn has inherited a party full of Neoliberal blairite War Mongerors and wouldn't survive a walkout... As I say, the process of handing power to the membership has begun. These things take time. Nicola leads a party where disagreeing with leadership results in disciplinary action. In this instance the leadership has made the correct decision.

Same. Fighting him on almost every issue it seems.

Just reinforces the wishes of a minority of people in power (the MPs) are more important than the people, in this case those who overwhelmingly voted Corbyn as leader.

He'll be lucky to last a year

I don't see what Corbyn gains by the constant prevaricating. Should hse this as a make or break. Follow the whip or ###### off and join the Tories. Should stop appeasing the Blarites and just go for it.

As a serial rebel, Corbyn is hardly in the position to withdraw the whip from elected MPs. The change has to come from the constituencies, and in a way a free vote will tell the local membership a great deal. As scunnered says, power has to shift to the membership.
