northernscum
He coped ok at Brentford...That's my point, I don't think he had much in the way of pressure in his time at Brentford.I could be wrong though.
jailender
I would have thought that managing a team, and getting them promoted in whatever league they are playing in must carry some pressure. I could be wrong though.
sbcmfc
I would have thought that managing a team, and getting them promoted in whatever league they are playing in must carry some pressure. I could be wrong though. I suppose doing it as an underdog is less pressure than it being expected. At Brentford promotion was a target rather than an expectation I'd presume? A few Rangers fans I've spoken to recently have confessed that the hype isn't to be believed, their is progress, but they're not the Harlem Globetrotters of Scottish football as we were lead to believe after the bright start. There isn't a lot of (quality) depth to the squad and question marks over how many of them would be good enough in the Premier....
Pool Q
That's my point, I don't think he had much in the way of pressure in his time at Brentford. I could be wrong though. I'd say you are. He did an exceptional job at Brentford. Granted there is investment in that club, but they are a small unfashionable one and taking them into the play-offs was a real achievement. He also makes the point himself that there was far more pressure in his previous career in the City than there is in football. At the moment he has one of the easier jobs in football, granted one that was beyond McCoist. He'll be tested far more when he is in the Premier League next year, but I think he'll be up to it. I hope Hibs sustain a decent challenge, but I doubt they will.

Also the recent pish about him and Stubbs showed that he at the moment isnt savvy enough yet to avoid the typical Weegie media traps. Tartan Bairn
Quite glad that one of the most profitable club in Scotland the past few years are flying under the radar in 3rd place. Have been narrowly been beaten by Hibs and Rangers by the odd contentious goal in each occasion. In reality I reckon Falkirk will fall short but we're playing some very good stuff. We're playing Hibs and Rangers back to back next month so time will tell if we can take something off (the big 2) and keep some sort of pressure on at the top. As a Falkirk fan id be happily finishing 3rd this season and we've got a bit cash to splash next year to make more of a title push.

Mitre
Respectfully Warburton is a classless twat, and I say that respectfully Aye it's a shame Warburton's maw and dad could not afford to send him to a similar Swiss Finishing School like Mr & Mrs Stubbs did

I won't claim to follow every utterance of either manager, but your analysis of the spat with Stubbs strikes me as being a bit, shall we say, partial. From what I've seen/heard he seems up to dealing with the wallopers of the Scottish media, although the levels of scrutiny will obviously be upped as and when he isn't overseeing victories over Alloa and Livingston. No Scotland No Party
Their fans may return but the club they supported can't. Here's to many years of carcus fc taking humpings from mid table teams.
DoonTheSlope
Agreed. Inconceivable. I was amazed they did not go up last season. I'll be kind and blame it on the freak occurrence of incredibly both Hibs and Hearts being in Div 2 when they were going for promotion back to Div 1. That bought us all one extra glorious year of no old firm pish. If for some unforeseen reason they fail again this year (only admin II could do it) it would be miraculous. It is funny but I think this 4 year hiatus has changed things. Especially when they do finally return. I think we will view them differently somehow as a result. This break has been wonderful. I think folk will find their return extremely ugly. It is not going to be the same like the bad old days... Again? It will be admin I
