Was never a popular player at Motherwell and hasn't really endeared himself to anyone as a manager. To be honest, you could throw any name on the 'well forum and within 30 seconds you'll get someone coming back telling you "he's a dick" "Not him" "Definitely not" "Well I'll not be going to watch us..." He'd cost too much money in an era where clubs are generally looking for managers making their first steps in that trade, even Celtic have taken the cheaper option in their last two appointments. Can't see Motherwell paying out compensation. Would rather have Billy Davies now he has more experience than he did last time. As for Terry Butcher, leave him where he is, his relegation campaign with Newport is coming on a treat.
