ParisInAKilt
That looks like a formation that Levein would try. And still lose 1 0 from a corner goal

Potted Heid
Ireland squad announced today, but they have a game on the 30th of August.
tartanpar
Ireland squad announced today, but they have a game on the 30th of August. Do they? Against who? It was just a provisional squad they announced. Georgia are announcing their squad today or tomorrow I think.
clarky1606
Shinnie has been outstanding this season for Aberdeen and deserves his place in the squad but Strachan is a fan of familiarity and experience so he will likely go with Forsyth. I would gladly be proved wrong by WGS though!!

I would gladly be proved wrong by WGS though!! forsyth was on the bench last night for derby, so its possible, strachan might not want to hang him out to dry after the ireland game and call in shinnie who is a much much better player, also dont discount the ex united boy at poznan from getting a call up. TartanDave
You wouldn't call up Hutton? Madness I know many rate him but I really don't! Even at Rangers thought he was very dodgy when faced with a good winger! Been not bad for us this campaign with the exception of Poland and perhaps Ireland away but think we have better right backs. Whitaker bardsley and MAYBE Paterson.
ParisInAKilt
Hutton was murder in Ireland, his worse game for us in recent memory, including Poland away. Still have him in the squad mind you.

wanderer
Bardsley has been in a few of Strachans squads, but not many.... Iirc he played in the Poland friendly last year
Fish Gills Mcginty
Ah well, he should be in this squad, good full back.
Hertsscot
Ah well, he should be in this squad, good full back. Dont think he's even been on the Stoke bench for their first two games - not a good sign, injured? out of favour?
kmcca5
Dont think he's even been on the Stoke bench for their first two games - not a good sign, injured? out of favour? They signed Glen Johnson and he is now out of favour. Shame as he had a good season last time round but had a few injurys.

tartanlad
Squad for Georgia and Germany games to be announced noon on Monday.
aaid
Bulk of the squad should be the same as for the previous games, subject to injury, for the two games coming up and the two in October. Now isn't the time to change things about or even bring players in to give them a feel of the place. Plenty of time for that in friendlies next year, hopefully in preparation for the summer's finals. Felix_Santos
Maybe a tad controversial, but I'm not convinced Stevie Naismith is worthy of a place in the next squad based on form.
