johnnie x
Can't link but tweeted "Disturbing reports of people being turned away from an Annan polling station by burly blokes if they say they dont support a certain party" D&G offical: No burly blokes outside Annan. Officers and Plice visitng frequently No complaints re canvassers (complete with picture of said station) Pretty low.
scotlad
It isn't just low: for a party leader to tweet an unfounded rumour like that is embarrassing. Heaven knows why she thought it would be a good idea. Thankfully it has now been thoroughly debunked.
johnnie x
Politician and Ex-BBC journalist so verification of sources isn't really required. Hear something that suits your agenda, treat it as gospel and scream it from the roof tops.

Toepoke
Unless the burly blokes were Tory supporters I can't see how tweeting that would help Ruth's party...

popkean1314foreva
No one among facebook friends has noticed anything of note in Annan when they have cast their vote , everyone was friendly and polite . The only controversy appears to be someone climbed the town hall biulding and placed a vote Emma (SNP) Harper in the arms of Robert the Bruce . It's the same tactic as the referendum, plant the seed and get people to jump to conclusions, by the time the lie is quashed it's too late. It's the tactic used by UK government time and time again, it's wrong but what's even worse is the amount of thick s who buy into it.
