adamntg
just checked - apparently they did but it was black and white horiziontal stripes - way back in the 50's. 1957-1958 B you might remember Adam - but way before my time. "Just checked if they had black and white vertical stripes and apparently they did but they were horizontal." So they weren't vertical. United dressed like Queens Park from 1930 till the late 50s. Squirrelhumper
Is Orange a killie colour? There's always been orange /gold in the badge. The orange in the strip is at insistence of the sponsor who to their credit are phenomenal to the club. They put in serious cash from sponsorship /paying eremenko /boyds wages / youth development etc so can't really be too precious about it. They subsidise family season tickets too. hunchy
Still not sure about it prob because I am so used to equally sized stripes. Not saying I hate it just that Im not sure about it
ErsatzThistle
Ignore the dicks wearing it... Judging by the look on their faces there appears to be something actually exciting happening in sleepy wee Kilmarnock these days ! Must go down and check it oot. Killie should go retro and give the old blue and white hoops a shot again one day. It'll be ages before Morton are back in the top tier again so you shouldn't worry about it clashing. Kilmarnock in 1985/86 for example. Edited May 21, 2015 by ErsatzThistle
Squirrelhumper
I'd love the hoops to make a comeback. Shame we were awful when we wore them.

It's a shame that that ridiculous anachronism known as The Lord Lyon forced your club to change it.
Scunnered
Now seen it in the flesh, not as impressed as I was first impressions. Ah well, can't win em all! Bring back the light sabre shirt!

giblet
Did Kilmarnock at one time not have hoops as opposed to stripes? What would be the more traditional over time?
Debian
Killie will be relegated next year.
