scoobydoo
I'm sure, in his cold heart and his witless mind, Murphy will be glad to be gone from the second biggest circus in Scotland. He has aged tremendously in the last few months and the stress will have gotten to him. Useless .
Maq
So.... He's hint going to run for Holyrood next year? What does he do now? Is he finished with Scottish politics? Will he wait for a safe-ish seat down South in a by election, as reward for 'saving the Union'?!
aaid
Wouldn't be surprised to see him in the Lords.

King Of Paisley
Given the gobbledygook that comes out the Lords he would fit in perfectly with his fundilymundily claptrap. Not sure standing on two Irn Bru crates would be part of Lords etiquette.
northernscum
So.... He's hint going to run for Holyrood next year? What does he do now? Is he finished with Scottish politics? Will he wait for a safe-ish seat down South in a by election, as reward for 'saving the Union'?! Why would any voters down south accept a failed Scottish politician as their candidate? Your MP's are supposed to work for the local community, that would just be an obvious ego trip for him.

John_B81
Yet another case where an outgoing Labour leader takes no responsibility and blames "nationalism" for his parties downfall. The problems stare Labour in the face.
Toepoke
Was impressed with Katy Clark on the radio this morning, highlighting where it went wrong for Labour in Scotland. Said they should've steered clear of Better Together last year, and avoided turning this year's election campaign into a referendum rerun... An SNP voter on here praised her election literature for not mentioning the SNP like other Labour stuff did. She fought a principled campaign. Sorry if that hurts to hear
