vanderark14
May the 2nd at the MGM grand I don't agree with the venue choice. A bug stadium is what is needed for this one but mayweather was never going to come out of his comfort zone
morrie21
they don't care about setting attendance records. when the ticket prices for this come out they'll make your eyes water. any proper fans wanting tickets for this have to buy from the secondary market anyway because the Casinos snap them all up as soon as they go 'on sale' anyway and most end up going as comps to their high rollers. that's why fights in a casino attract customers not proper fans. Anyway Mayweather lives close to the strip, gets a hand injection concession that he wouldn't get in other parts of america so the fight was always going to be here. Anyone actually think Pac will beat him?
Johnny McRotten
Shame it's only happened now they're both definitely past their best. Before the Maidana fights, I was sure Mayweather would handle Pac easily if it ever did happen, but there's room for doubt now - Maidana fights in a style that makes him look like a copy of Pacquaio, but not quite as good, and that style gave Floyd a lot of trouble. I still think Mayweather is favourite but when fighters are in decline anything can happen. Top boxing on terrestrial TV tonight for a change. it will be a miracle if Golovkin doesn't win, but he's always exciting to watch.

ParisInAKilt
Shame it never happened a few years ago. The very definition of a super fight though and people like myself who don't know much about boxing will watch it. Would like a Pac Man KO but maybe a Mayweather points win is the more likely outcome

Angus_Young
Would have been a fantastic fight 5 years ago and really could have gone either way. It's going to be a bit of a side show now and I can't see anything other than Mayweather on points.

phart
Yeah i'm not buying it, Mayweather will stop him late, not even that interested, two late 30 fighters out of their prime. I've moved onto MMA now, there is still an emphasis on skill over athleticism in there at some point. Although the weight cutting is getting crazy across there, 22lb water cuts and shit. 5 years ago i would have bee loving it. Weirdly Khan is the man to give Mayweather fits due to style. phart
Won't stop him IMO. Hasn't stopped anyone in his last 5 I don't think? Mayweather like Calzaghe before him has fecked hands, however considering how easy Marquez got Manny to walk into right hands. Floyd's going to manage it as well, Later on i think he'll actually sit down on his shots a bit as Manny will be miles behind on the cards, and just walk him into a huge one and put the lights out. The bottle top has been loosened now.

There will most definitely be an element of 'imagine this was 5 years ago'. Can't see me buying it.

glasgow jock
Will probably go to my neighbours house to watch this - I fancy Pacquiao in the later rounds, the self claimed "T.B.E" is still fast, but not as fast as he used to be, whereas Pacquiao still has the heavier punch out the pair, as other have said it would have been so much better 5 or so years ago. Fairbairn
Watched the Pacquiao v De La Hoya fight last night. Unbelievable to see a legend like Oscar get schooled like that.
Ormond
In order to see this fight my tv company are charging a shocking near 100 dollars. I will not be buying it. The game's rulers need to waken up before top level boxing disappears for good.

redstevie007
I have purchased it on Sky Box Office for £19.95 - it better be worth it. Same here but not sure when I can watch it There were various options ie watch live or the repeats throughout Sunday. Booked the 10am repeat as I'm not sure I'll be in a fit state to watch it live. Would I be able to if I was or can I only watch at the time I've booked?

I watched the Hatton - mayweather fight in repeat, having avoided the result. Turned the TV on about 10 mins after he had been knocked out
