Ormond
Connor McGrandles just left Falkirk for 1 million. I don't think it would we unreasonable for Rangers to ask for that type of fee for their best young asset. Its pocket change to English clubs. Up front, not future add-ons. Hertsscot
McArthur transfer official. Another Scot in the premier league. Can only be a good thing Good move for McArthur and I think Palace showed enough at the end of last season to show that they will stay up. thewolf_1980
Far too high a figure for someone who is playing in the second tier. Look at what all other youngsters go for? I give you Stevie May. Or is it just because you think because he plays for the peepel that he must go for more than a mill? Up front, not future add-ons. When did I mention whether £700k should be up front or in instalments?! Either way, I don't believe that in today's English market, £700k is enough for a player of MacLeod's potential. The fact that he plays for "the peepil" (whatever that is) is completely inconsequential. If St J opted to sell the jerseys and accept a totie amount for May, then more fool them. Thankfully, Rangers resisted any advances (if there were any) anyway.
Angus_Young
Far too high a figure for someone who is playing in the second tier. Look at what all other youngsters go for? I give you Stevie May. Or is it just because you think because he plays for the peepel that he must go for more than a mill? Don't get this comparison. Because St Johnstone were daft enough to let their most promising player go for buttons, everyone else should do the same and just accept it? And your other point is fair. But surely that's more of a reason to try and hang on to him now as he will automatically be worth more by your reckoning, if/when Rangers get back to the SPL? scottishedgar
Unfortunately that's the problem with the smaller teams,as soon as a 6 figure offer comes in for one of their players they shit themselves and don't have the balls to hold out for a reasonable figure. ErsatzThistle
Kenny Jackett has said he'd be interested in taking Steven Fletcher back to Wolves on loan. Leigh Griffiths seems determined to ruin his career faster than Derek Riordan did. To think he was starting up front for us about 18 months ago against Croatia too ! Squirrelhumper
Griffiths won't go to hibs I don't think. If he does, celtic can't sell him on January.
PASTA Mick
I obviously don't see what goes on in training but it seems mental to keep playing Stokes ahead of Griffiths.
