A 'reward' on the way to season ticket holders. I expect the price decrease will be announced after that. This is the first home game Ive missed since 2008 when I was in Oz, wheres my reward you d'cks. The 'reward' is to make sure they keep quiet when the Gilbratar tickets drop to half price. I expect the ST holders will get a free ticket or something shite like a kilt pin or mug.

ChrisPro
There also seems to be a two tier SSC now with season ticket holders and non season ticket holders

Fairbairn
Rather than give 10K tickets to kids I'd rather the offered the opportunity to buy tickets to those non SSC members who payed exorbitant prices for the Ireland and Georgia games first. King Of Paisley
Tartansmarf - agreed. Paid £35 for my Ireland ticket. Same for Georgia game and all this on top of my membership fee. Any offer should be open to ALL SSC members, regardless of who has paid what. And it also depends how much they decrease the tickets by. If still no less than £30 then will still not be going. £20 with £10 concessions is probably more in line.
John_B81
Think it's time for the SFA to go back to categorising by level of opponent, like they did pre-2007 before they started putting the prices up cashing in on the euphoria of the France home game. The absolute maximum for Gibraltar should be £25, though I think £20 would be more value for money.

fraz65
For a moment there I thought that the UK had returned the island to Spanish sovereignty but it seems that this thread is just about free tickets.

I agree price is OTT but ten squids remember in 2007 when we played then-world-champions Italy in former-world-cup-stadium Bari? I think it was about 10 euro

John_B81
They already do this. England tickets were more expensive than the qualifiers Prices for qualifiers have been the same for every opponent since 2007, whether it was Spain or Liechtenstein, Holland or Macedonia. They were categorised before, £18 for Faroe Islands and £25 for France (in North Stand). Edited November 19, 2014 by John_B81
Gman1990
Why ringfence 10,000 tickets if they are gonna drop the prices? Surely if the tickets are reasonably priced we would shift the extra 10k anyway?
giblet
So I pay a membership fee but get to choose my ticket after 10,000 seats have been given away. Great deal. The SFA clearly see the non season ticket holding membership as nothing more than an after thought.

SSC members guaranteed a ticket, including 10000? season ticket holders due an extra 2, the debenture seats at Hampden that are due a ticket, the corporate sections plus 2500 to be offered to Gibraltar where are these 10000 tickets coming from? IMO what they should do is have prices tiered ssc members £20 and public sale £25 we already pay for the privilege ??? of being ssc members so why should we pay same price as non members or even do some sort of loyalt scheme I.e if you went to Georgia Ireland and England games get a ticket for £10/£15... That way no need to give 10k tickets away or is that to simple for them???
