RIP One of his last games would have been at Dens as well. He played for Preston North End against a Dundee team with a very young Gordon Strachan. slasher
Sadly I’m just about old enough to remember him in tears in the studio ahead of Scotlands final group game against Holland in Argentina ‘78. He was genuinely upset at how the tournament had gone for us and felt for our players and the pressure they were under. An absolute legend of a player and an all round nice guy! RIP 🥲
