Series Worth Watching
GroundsKeeper replied to village idiot's topic in Anything Goes - Other topics not covered elsewhere
Was really disappointed with the Gentleman. It went down hill after the chicken dance scene. Was rooting for the brother to killed as he was so annoying. Load of pooh, series 2 - no thanks -
Cracking goal for John McGinn last night in the quarter final victory over Lille. Looks to be on form and in a good place for the Euros. I see him Scott Mctominay, Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson as our core players. Would be great to see Villa in the champions league next season- I think it would benefit McGinn and Scotland if they made it.

I like also the French taps, took pelters in Lille but I have no problem wearing a france tap. Not on match day obviously though AULD ALLIANCE

Was anyone else on the 10am flight from Amsterdam to Glasgow on the Sunday ? I was scheduled to land at 12.00 ( mid day) but arrived 12 hours late after they rebooked me on a flight via Frankfurt with Lufthansa. I put in a claim for compensation with KLM but it was refused due to " weather" So I now have to log my claim with the ADR Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme ran by the Civil Aviation Authority. 🤬

If you've got a ticket for this game, are they named?

I personally don't think they will look at names. Are they asking us to bring our passports or ID to the match. (Just my opinion.) -

900 euros for a ticket. Thats obscene. Shame on UEFA 🤬 -
Its been talked about for years. It would need co-ordination from SSC to allocate tickets. Brilliant idea, but for the aforementioned it won't happen. There was talk of removing the moat around hampden to bring the fans closer to the pitch. There will be alot of money floating about SFA from the euros and also because they own hampden. The SFA have come out and said there will ne NO MAJAR REDEVELOPMNENT WORK AT HAMPDEN. The atmosphere is flat because the results have been poor in the recent friendlies. Some folk argue its up to the fans to lift the team, but its a two way street. But the running moat behind the goals doesn't help in my opinion. Would that have made a difference against NI ? Doubt it. Clarke has a great competitive record but friendlies have been poor. But hand up who wants it the other way round ?

Time will tell but the feedback they got from the Association of Tartan Army Clubs, was that the points system should have been been used. Whether they listened is another matter, but hopefully we will find out IF we do progress.
