I’d imagine he’ll be waiting to see who has come through the weekend fixtures unscathed. Interesting there’s been no official statement from the Scotland camp re Brown and Armstrong, perhaps some hope they’ll make it?

I am sure someone on the radio today mentioned Scotland have no intention of calling anyone up to replace Armstrong or Brown..

Ridiculous if true given that Brown and Armstrong have been a key part of our team and BOTH are out for our biggest double header in a decade. What do we have to lose by calling up McGregor? NOTHING

Jeez that is two slots now that could be filled by players in decent form such as McGregor and even get Burke in there. We need all the options we can get in this double header so what do we have to lose? Even if neither are involved it integrates them into the squad and gives the manager a chance to assess where they are. A no-brainer. robbo cop
McGregor and McGinn are both in form so lets get at least one of them in the team and stop twatting about with the likes of Mcarthur who has not been good lately. Such a shame to lose two such important players, especially Armstrong.
ScotsRik
Yes - thanks John McGinn for rubber stamping my Friday post!! I really think he is the best option....rarely seen him come off second best in any company!
spud1982
My team would be. Gordon Tierney berra mulgrew Robertson Fletcher mcginn Forrest Ritchie Philips Griffiths. If Philips is up near Griffiths then Ritchie can push out, think he can give some creativity too down the middle. With McGregor (if confirmed in squad)Fraser and morrison coming on if we're chasing the win
