just been watching season 2 where they get promoted to League 2 - couple things i picked up on - any away fans interviewed are generally full of praise for what Wrexham are doing - they probably edit out / cut the responses of the majority of true supporters i would imagine , who would despise that IMHO (based upon feeling towards Man City , and lower level how Cove were received into HL back in the day , Salford City am guessing the same ?) - during the run in ; they kept avoiding fact Wrexham had game in hand ; setting up game v Notts County as a title decider , which it clearly wasn't its decent entertainment , but being padded out now with women team and other stuff i typically ffwd thru - the manager they've got seems terrible in my view / and signing of Ben Foster seemed questionable - did they punt the guy that got injured all the time ? the guy "Humphrey" for me is the glue ; and sounds like it was his interest/inspiration that likely got the ball rolling

am obviously (and honestly ) very much out of touch ; having lived in suburban Canada for 18 years (and am 58 ....) - the first , and only time i was aware of that pastime was actually some english fans at a bar here in Calgary where was watching them play Italy (Batotelli ? big black striker was playing - Italy won 10 + years back ?) and couple of english blokes obviously indulging in cubicles - came out after me then spat on big screen as they passed by - so kinda formed an opinion based upon that one event my last away trip with Scotland was Cyprus last September - tbh i thought was pretty tame / lame and not the same rapport that i had witnessed on previous away trips - i then did Helsinki away with the Dons which was night & day tbh ; as there was a lot of younger guys there , may have indeed been more toilet visits

They only answer the favourable questions from their own back benches. When It's from the opposition it is literally Prime Minister's Questions. There will never be answers. A complete waste of time. You extremists should know this!

I don't think he did himself any favours last night. He's always performed steadily when I've seen him play for Scotland u21s but he's struggled when he's been in the Rangers team. I agree he needs away in the summer, whether that's a loan or a permanent deal.

It would make such a difference to the league if Rangers and Celtic started spending money internally - Calvin Ramsey is a perfect example as he potentially could have ripped it up for a few years then got the move to the EPL where Aberdeen benefit from a sell on clause. Instead, his career seems to have completely stalled. Porto have spent £20m this season on two players from the domestic leagues. Feyenoord and Ajax have spent £25m-£30m between them on local players in the last two seasons. Was Scott Wright at £175k the last time the Old Firm spent money on a domestic player?

Stephen Flynn asked Sunak about his Russia/Iran/North-Korea/Scotland comment during PMQ's today. Sunak denied he had said what he said and then gave the SNP some verbal. He didn't actually answer the question he was asked. Pricks like Johnson and Sunak never answer the question they've been asked so, what is the f*cking point in PMQ's and why does the speaker allow the PM to to do that? They should be forced to answer the question.

It'll be interesting to see if Clement signs/plays some Scots next year. This season he'll obviously have been restricted by the lack of Scots in the Rangers squad to begin with. I'm certainly not holding my breath, as it doesn't appear to be particularly important to the club's culture. Celtic have been a bit better the past decade, especially under Rodgers first time round, so we'll see if next year they recruit more Scots. Now that he's proven he has still "got it" he'll be able to express himself more. Pretty sad that there may be a chance Bologna play more Scots than Rangers do next year.

I'm pretty open-minded about Gauld as I can't recall ever watching him play live. He might have been rubbish at Hibs, but he was good at Dundee United, otherwise he wouldn't have got the big money move & he has had a pretty good career in recent years, so unless he is called up, even if he only trains with the squad, how can Clarke be sure if his qualities are good enough or not? I do quite like Lewis Morgan, from what I recall, he is a technically good & skillful player, but maybe a lack of pace & physicality has stopped him playing in the top league. He is another I don't like to see dismissed as we aren't good enough to dismiss anyone.

Was having a look at that the other week - the issue being the choice of regional trains back after midnight isn’t the greatest. We’ll be blootered anyway so paying a bit more won’t matter too much.
